A native of Chattanooga, Emily received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Chattanooga State and worked for 4 years as a nurse in hospital and home health settings before moving to a rheumatology practice for the next 6 years. After getting her BS in Nursing from East Tennessee State University, she worked as a clinical workflow analyst and EHR specialist for AMSURG, an ASC and practice management company, for 4 years. A desire to return to patient care led her to obtain her master’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University. She is excited to unite her love of rheumatology and health information technology with her nursing knowledge and experience as a rheumatology NP.
Emily is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Emily is happily married and has three feisty children. She loves sharing new adventures with
her family through travel, food, photography, and music.
