Richard Brackett, MD

Dr. Brackett is a Chattanooga native and graduated from McCallie School in 1977. He then attended the University of Georgia graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1981. After college, he attended medical school at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Erlanger in 1988 and went on to receive a fellowship in rheumatology which was completed in 1990. Dr. Brackett has been in private practice, specializing in rheumatology since 1990.

Dr. Brackett is board certified in internal medicine and as a fellow in the American College of physicians, board-certified in rheumatology, and as a fellow in the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Brackett resides in Chattanooga with his wife Julie. They have two daughters.
